چکیده
In this report, a novel non-contact, non-invasive methodology for near and quasi real-time measurement of the structuring metal surfaces using pulsed laser ablation is described. This based on use multi-messenger data approach from Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) Radio (RES) in parallel. research, radio frequency (RF) emission (in range 100–400 MHz) optical (200–900 nm) were investigated acquired real-time. The RES OES post-processed visualized heat maps, and, because large sets particularly RES, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) statistics used analysis. A comparison between in-process RES-OES post-process 3D images different ablated holes generated by picosecond with powers (1.39 W, 1.018 0.625 W) aluminum (Al) copper (Cu) was performed. time-series technique correlate well microscopic images. capability as an operando diagnostic analysis changes quality (cleanliness symmetry), morphology aspect ratios (including diameter holes) process confirmed PCA map visualization. holds great promise detection micromachining laser-metal base manufacturing.

Laser ablation of Ta plates using nanosecond optical vortex pulses was carried out, for the first time. It was suggested that owing to orbital angular momentum of optical vortex, clearer and smoother processed surfaces were obtained with less ablation threshold fluence, in comparison with the ablation by a nonvortex annular beam modified from a spatially Gaussian beam.

This work investigates evaporation kinetics — the relation between the surface temperature and pressure during excimer laser ablation. Nickel targets are ablated by excimer laser pulses in a laser fluence range between 1 and 6 J/cm2, with the upper limit exceeding the threshold of phase explosion (5 J/cm2). The surface pressure is determined with a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) piezoelectric t...
